Stephen King’s Pet Sematary a’ la YouTube
In high school, I lived on a literary diet of Stephen King’s novels. I couldn’t get enough. Bloodborne: Walking the Demon’s Souls Dark Path?

Giants and Toys: Interesting, Stylish, But Not Engaging
Yasuzo Masumura’s movie script was obviously written around a theme, first, and fails to maintain emotionally engaging characters throughout. Too bad–as several characters become interesting, the viewer’s interest is thrown away by another preachy rant and an abrupt ending that doesn’t build to a satisfying moral dilemma. (The character’s dilemma is there, but I couldn’t connect with him.)
While I did enjoy the stylish photography and the sometimes clever characterization, the movie’s ham-handed handling of theme was too much.

Rain, Rain, Go Away
I thought to escape bad weather this Christmas. Too bad we continue to have more rain in Jacksonville. At this rate, why not snow?
