I’m three chapters into a novel. Each chapter is about 2,200 words, plus or minus. (A little more on the plus side.)
What’s great about secondary characters is that they not only round out a story, they do double duty for the main story character.
The cover should match the readers taste and genre.
Going forward, I think this will be fair to a reader’s expectations. You, the reader, are who really matters.
